What we collect

Account data (email, display name), circle memberships, device push tokens, and — only while you enable sharing — location samples (latitude, longitude, accuracy, speed, heading, battery percentage, timestamps).

How location is shared

Location is visible only to members of circles you have actively joined after accepting an invite. You can pause sharing or leave a circle at any time. Orbit does not offer hidden or covert tracking modes.

Retention

Live location is overwritten continuously. History retention depends on your plan (24 hours free; longer on paid plans). You may request deletion of your account and associated location history.

Processors

We use infrastructure providers for auth, database, realtime transport, push delivery, and subscription billing (e.g. Supabase, Vercel, Apple, Google, RevenueCat). We do not sell location data.

Children

Dependent profiles may be managed by a parent/guardian with appropriate consent under applicable law. Orbit is not directed at children creating accounts alone without a guardian.
